Spread the word in
October

October is National Medicine Abuse Awareness Month — a time where communities from all across the country come together to shine a light on the dangers of OTC medicine misuse. Led by the Stop Medicine Campaign in partnership with CADCA, this campaign empowers parents, educators, and advocates to raise awareness, start conversations, and share life-saving resources. One voice can spark a movement. Yours can, too.

Dose of Prevention Challenge

The Dose of Prevention Challenge, held every October as part of National Medicine Abuse Awareness Month, empowers communities to raise awareness about the dangers of OTC cough medicine misuse. Participants from community coalitions host creative events, lead school-wide initiatives, and share photos, videos, and stories that bring local prevention efforts to life.
