Recently, I was invited to KWBW 1450’s radio station in my hometown of Hutchinson, Kansas to speak about the pressures teens face and potential risky behaviors with Lieutenant Joe Schillaci, from A&E’s hit TV show, “The First 48.”
It was a great opportunity to share the mission of the Five Moms initiative and the importance of talking to your teens about the issues they face. Over-the-counter (OTC) cough medicine abuse can catch families off-guard, but parents can help prevent it by talking with their teens and monitoring their medicine cabinets.
