Millions of people around the world tuned in to watch the Super Bowl last weekend. Not all of them were sports fans, though. For me and millions of others, the commercials are just as big as the game, and there was one commercial I hope all of you saw. It’s from the Partnership for a Drug-Free America, and it addresses the problem of medicine abuse. The commercial brings the issue of medicine abuse to an even larger audience and serves as a reminder to the Five Moms about how important this campaign is. So let’s continue to spread the word about the Five Moms campaign, safeguard our medicine cabinets, and talk to our kids about the dangers of medicine abuse. Super Bowl Sunday is over, but our fight against cough medicine abuse isn’t.
