Senator Joseph Biden (D-DE) issued a special statement two weeks ago to commemorate National Medicine Abuse Awareness Month. Even though August is over, it is important to always keep in mind the danger associated with drug abuse. As Senator Biden said:
“With middle and high school students starting fall classes soon, there is no time like the present for parents to talk with their tweens and teens about the misuse of prescription and over-the-counter drugs. The time to talk is now.”
I couldn’t agree more. Take some time to talk to your kids today!
