How Much Do You Know?

Much of the research that has been done over the past few years indicates that there is a lot parents still need to learn about over-the-counter and prescription medicine abuse. According to the Partnership for a Drug-Free America:

  • Parents don't understand why teenagers are intentionally abusing medicine;
  • Parents, since they are not aware of the situation, may not be discussing the risks of abuse of prescription drugs or nonprescription cough medicine with their children;
