Spring is just around the corner. Hopefully you remembered to push your clocks ahead one hour last weekend. This annual ritual means we're going to have even more time with the sun, which for some of us may mean less time with our kids as they enjoy the extra light and warmer weather outdoors. Time outside playing usually means time your kids spend with their friends. Talk with them about where they're going and what they're doing before they leave, and follow up with them when they get home. It will keep you happy knowing where your kids are hanging out and with whom. And it'll help your kids know that you care and want to make sure they're safe. Being outside and active during the early spring is one of the true pleasures in life. Monitoring your kids' activities means that both they and you can enjoy the season to its fullest.
