Moms Play a Critical Role in Children’s Health

Moms and dads often multitask. They drive their kids to and from activities, while balancing feeding the family with monitoring homework. But mothers also, according to a recent Wall Street Journal article, are “the unsung heroes of the health-care system.” As a nurse, I believe that this is absolutely true. Moms (and dads) are the ones who can tell with one glance when their kids are under the weather. And it’s these parental instincts”combined with being armed with the right information” that will help you stop cough medicine abuse before it starts. Please share this with other unsung heroes.
